Elisabeth A
Teaching children is so much more than making sure that they can remember facts and learn processes. When teaching children you’re also teaching life skills like learning from mistakes, patience, and perseverance. Elisabeth believes in a philosophy of teaching the whole child and not just the subject matter.
“They don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care.” Not every child learns in the same way; some children are visual learners, some hands on, some auditory. Elisabeth makes sure that each child has their own experience, specialized to them and how they learn. She also believes that learning can be fun and likes to bring a sense of humor to her tutoring.
Elisabeth is a graduate of University of Arkansas Little Rock where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and received her Teaching Certificate through the Arkansas Department of Education. She is also a member of the Kappa Delta Pi Honors Society.
Elisabeth is an Air Force Spouse of 5 years and has a gorgeous 9 month old son Noah. She’s an avid reader, enjoys painting, and is a self-proclaimed history nerd. She enjoys spending her weekends hiking with her family and chocolate lab, Diesel.
