How do I get started?
You can get started today by contacting us at 1-866-60-TEACH (1-866-608-3224). We will start by discussing your child’s specific needs and provide you with an enrollment form. Once we receive the enrollment form we will set you up with an expert tutor immediately.
What regions do you service?
We provide home tutoring services throughout Monterey bay area.
Here are some locations we tutor:
- Monterey
- Pacific Grove
- Carmel
- Marina
- Seaside
- Pebble Beach
- Salinas
If you don’t see your location, give us a call. We will try our best to find a tutor for you.
Is your teaching system custom-tailored to each student?
Yes. We understand the many different ways that children learn and how best to adjust our teaching style to them.
What is the teacher-to-student ratio?
Our teacher-to-student ratio is always one-to-one. We have found one-to-one teaching to be much more effective than group tutoring.
What percentage of the time is the teacher actually with the student?
Our teachers are with their students virtually 100% of the time during their sessions.
Do you provide a free assessment?
Yes. We will administer and interpret an assessment test in your own home before you start, at no charge.
Do you have a guarantee?
Yes. If you are not satisfied for any reason, your first hour will be free and we’ll do what we can to make things right. We are committed to providing you with the best tutor possible.
Are there any long-term commitment requirements?
No. Unlike other tutoring companies Monterey tutoring offers flexible scheduling and no-commitment programs. You can schedule daytime, evening, or weekend sessions and reschedule as needed. And you can start and stop working with us whenever you’d like–you’re not locked into anything, ever.
Where is the teaching done?
All teaching is done in your own home. This is most convenient for children and parents, and allows for fewer distractions.
Do you personally interview and train every tutor?
Yes. We have a strict recruitment process, and only one in ten tutors are good enough to work on our team.
What certification, training and experience do your tutors have?
Most of our tutors are university or college graduates or students, some with Masters or PhD degrees in their respective fields. They are all experienced and have fulfilled all requirements to become certified tutors.
If I have questions or concerns, who do I deal with?
Our dedication to customer service is absolute. If you have a question or concern that cannot be answered by your tutor, you will receive a call from us, usually within the same day.
