George is a retired Naval Officer and math teacher. He has 20+ years of teaching experience at the high school, junior college and college level. He has also consulted to and conducted research for Federal, County, City and Tribal governments. His areas of teaching include: Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, Math Analysis, Pre-Calculus and Calculus.

George grew up in California and Maryland and attended Fordham University where he graduated with a BS in Physics. He was an officer in the Navy serving on ships and submarines, and taught calculus at the US Naval Academy. Upon release from active service he worked for Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory and various consulting organizations. He attended American University and received an MA in Mathematics and a PhD in Public Administration. He taught at the US Naval War College, Salve Regina College, Monterey Institute of International Studies, Central Texas University in the NCPACE program. He rejoined the active navy and served as a diplomat for the Navy in India, Indonesia and Peru. Upon release again from active service he taught various math courses at Carmel Valley High School and Monterey High School where he currently serves as a volunteer math tutor in the AVID program.

George has tutored and taught high school Algebra, Geometry, Statistics and Calculus. He has taught college Algebra, Calculus, Microeconomics, and Operations Research. He also has tutored students preparing for the SAT exams and ASVAB tests.
